As many as 16 power plants, operated by NTPC, one of the Navratna companies of India, are in “Red Alert” category for belching out the Carbon Dioxide in the country. And by statistics NTPC ranks 4th biggest carbon (read CO2) emitting company in the world. So says CARMA
In fact, NTPC Talcher in Orissa has the notoriety of emitting the biggest quantity of CO2. Phew.
On our wishlist is a Green Building. Just like these ones in India.
